Pencil Portrait

Pencil Portrait

Hey All, I posted a photo of a pencil portrait of Scott that I am almost done with in the photos section. Thought I would put something on the boards in case it got missed. I am trying to get it signed by Scott. Anybody got any ideas how I can get that done?
Thanks

Its in the free for all section.

Let me know if you find out how! My only strategy is stalking the tour bus at the show I'm going to in March!

You and I drew the same picture haha...although I must admit I used a light table on mine...but mine is in free for all as well

I just recently painted a picture of the guys on canvas and was hoping to get it signed at an upcoming show.

Picture is finally up. Let me know what you all think.

Nice work, very nice.

Thanks, sundayrehab

That turned out gorgeous. Hope you can get it signed!

Very impressive! His eyes are especially awesome! I think you should do one of Seth too!

Beautiful!

Nicely done, I'm impressed.
As far as getting it signed, I would say your best bet really is to wait by the bus after a show.

I plan on doing a set of all the guys. Trying to fit them in with my commissions is really tough though.
Thanks for the kind words all.

Sorry I have no idea how to get it signed but just wanted to say great job! The beard is especially amazing.

Thanks Kristi

Wow, that's pretty spot on. Good job man! Good luck on getting it signed.

Mailing it out Tuesday to Concord to have it signed!!!

Can anyone help me find or know of a picture of Seth, Bob, and Joe that is a head shot like the one I used for reference on Scott?

I always thought these were nice headshots of them. Putting Scott in there in case you wanted them to look more like a set.

And congrats! So glad that you're able to get it signed!

Yea those are good ones Osker

Perfect Oskar!!
I wish I would have seen this set before I spent 30+ hours on the one I just finished. Looks like I will be doing another. I might draw them all together on a big sheet of paper. Get them all to sign it and have them auction it off.

Can't wait to see how it comes along!

Wow. You got skills, homey.

Thanks Nate

Holy Hellz that's impressive! Wow!

Thanks al for the compliments! I will be starting on Seth tonight. I listened to the entire TAB collection during my time spent on drawing Scott. My only saving grace on the Seth drawing is that he doesn't have a beard.

Simple and sincere, Wow!

that picture is absolutely incredible. you captured his eyes perfectly

Thanks everyone,
I posted the finished portrait in the free for all section.
Excited to be working on Seth's portrait.

That is amazing. Can't wait to see the others! Will you be selling prints?

Id have to get permission from the Scott and Seth and more than likely the photographer to sell prints. Id be happy to give you one if you paid for the price of the print and shipping though. I can however, sell the original. I am having them signed and plan on auctioning them off to help out with Bob's daughter if they will let me. If not, want to donate the money to one of the charities that the Avett Brothers support. These guys give and give and give. Only feels right to do the same.

I actually saw this on Facebook last night when I was browsing their pictures - AMAZING! Can't wait to see more!

Thanks Jenny!

You ROCK neebone! Be sure to let me know if you do make these available. I'm interested.

Thanks Kristi! I will let you know.

Anyone have any idea who may have taken the photo that I used for reference?

Ben Trivett

Thanks sundayrehab. I sent Ben Trivett an email.
what about this one of Seth I started on?
