I would really appreciate it if someone could help me figure out this picking pattern that scott uses in this song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GZPp7uEq0nM

im fairly new to the guitar, and if i could see it laid out i think it would help me out a lot,

He strums the top string of each chord with his thumb as the bass line. So every time you switch chords strum the top string first then fill in below.
