I am sorry to say that I was not able to attend the concert because I didn’t get the tickets. I had tried on 01/06/2010 and I got the message that the tickets had already been sold out. I tried again on 03/06/10 but I got the same message. I got annoyed and so I decided not to take part in the concert. I am pretty sure that a lot of others must have had the same experience. www.angieslist.com

I am a resident of Concord and I am happy to say that “The Avett Brothers” are from my place. In my view they are a bunch of immensely talented guys. Their music is a combination of bluegrass, punk, pop, county and rock and roll. They had a very humble beginning. They released their first EP in 2000. It was only moderately successful. But their subsequent albums have been huge hits. Anyway I couldn’t attend the 9/10 concert because of office constraints. www.gumball-machine.com

Re: The Gleam (EP)
I am happy to point out that I have already listened to this EP. It has got some really wonderful tracks. I liked the first one a lot. It had a soothing influence on me. Whenever I feel depressed I will listen to this track and it will rejuvenate my spirits. The second one “When I Drink” is also nice. But I didn’t enjoy the last track. I found it pretty boring. Anyway, I am of the view that on the whole this EP is worth the money invested. www.angieslist.com
