Nothing's gained excusing the awful arrangement of these songs. The Brothers have made perfectly great music inside and outside the studio long before they signed with a major label. For that matter plenty of bands have signed with major labels without compromising their sound and artistic integrity.
And, yes, for the thousandth time-- we can all appreciate the difference between a live performance and the produced sound of a studio album.
