The May 2010 Esquire magazine music feature identifies Murder in the City as one of four "Perfect" songs. I agreee whole heartedly. I have attended Avett Brothers concerts with all three of my sons and two of my brothers, and this song is always very special to hear when I am with family.
Play it at Edgefield please!

These guys are electrifying whether they are in front of a packed house or in the back of the equipment trailer. I can't wait for the Edgefield show on the 17th. Typical doberman, a real people puppy.

I bought tickets to the Crystal Ballroom benefit, then realized a day later I had to go out of town on business on the 30th. AAAAARRGH!
I gave the tickets to my son and daughter in law, and they had a great time. I may have to chase the guys down elsewhere to get my Avett Bros. fix.
